The Client
Based in the USA, our client is a service provider specializing in supporting media companies to maximize their advertising revenue. They needed a comprehensive system to streamline their ordering process by integrating their operations with Finance and Operations (F&O).
The Challenge
The client wanted to handle complex order management, accurate financial tracking and invoicing, service provision and case management and streamlining the entire quote-to-cash cycle for the ordering process from quote to cash.
The Solution
To address these challenges, we enhanced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales module, integrating them with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. The solution included the following components:
- Enhanced Dynamics Sales: We customized Dynamics 365 Sales to create multiple order lines based on the contract terms of sales orders. This ensured that every aspect of the contracts was thoroughly tracked and managed from quote generation to cash collection. These order lines were integrated with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) to facilitate seamless financial management and invoicing processes.
- Integration with Dynamics 365 F&O: We integrated Dynamics 365 Sales with Dynamics 365 F&O to streamline the financial data flow. This integration allowed for efficient invoice management, accurate financial tracking, and improved cash flow management.
Other features:
- Integration with Dynamics 365: We have seamlessly integrated Dynamics 365 with F&O to obtain real-time values from Futures and Options markets and seamlessly integrate them with CRM records.
- Data Enrichment from Finance and Operations (F&O): One notable feature is the ability to enrich CRM records with data sourced from Finance and Operations (F&O). You can enhance and match your CRM data by pulling relevant information such as Product, project, or account details from F&O.
- Service Module Enhancements: We enhanced the Dynamics 365 Service module to prioritize customer cases. When a priority case was created, the system would immediately notify the appropriate personnel, enabling them to respond and start work without delay.
Result:
Implementation of D355 CE (Customer Engagement) and F&O (Finance and Operations) integration delivers enhanced efficiency and accuracy in managing CRM records while accessing real-time market values.
