Our US based client, an advitising agancy had to manually create a lead in Dynamics 365 when a potential client showed interest in their services when their agents added that potential client's details in a SharePoint list. This was because their agents worked on contract and were not given access to the system.
The challenge presented was to automate the creation of Lead entity records in Dynamics 365 whenever a new record was added to the SharePoint list. Additionally, the images attached to the SharePoint records needed to be seamlessly integrated into the related Notes section of the corresponding lead in Dynamics 365
To address the client's requirements, we devised a comprehensive solution utilizing Microsoft Flow. Upon the creation of a new record in the designated SharePoint location, the Microsoft Flow was triggered. Subsequently, this flow facilitated the automatic creation of a new Lead record in Dynamics 365, along with the associated Notes.
The Microsoft Flow implementation involved various actions and expressions to ensure the successful transfer of images from SharePoint to Dynamics 365 Notes as attachments, conforming to the required format.
